Hill start basically is the car driving on a gradient or the slope and when you are going up the gradient it is known as the uphill start and when you are going down the hill then it is known as the downhill start. The next thing you need to do is put your car on the 3 rd or 4 th gear and that will help the car slide down smoothly. Release the foot from the clutch pedal slowly so the car can start moving. Now press accelerator very lightly and let the gravity do its work in moving the car. Be ready to press on the brake pedal slightly if the car gets really speedy but make sure your movement s are coordinated and the ride doesn’t get bumpy.
